How can you when the club is structurally a mess to the point that the manager still leads the first team recruitment and the standards that you are projecting to your employees are a stadium with visible surface rust and leaking roof and a training complex that was the leading facility in the world when you took over but that you haven’t invested in for that 20 year period so it’s no longer even second rate.

They are cancer. They spread and infect everything and they are killing our club. The only manager who has thrived is was an almost unparalleled genius who was well embedded and had the support of a genius administrator. We’re in limbo while they’re there. Too big to fail but riven by a toxic cancer that won’t allow us to succeed.

It’s depressing but you can hardly force them to sell.
