Muse - Origin of Symmetry
Back when this came out, it wasn't released in the US until several years after its UK release. On the internet circa 2002, it wasn't quite so easy to get things shipped overseas, but I remember finding a place based in Belgium or something then hoping that it would actually arrive. I ordered two copies of the CD, and they did eventually arrive, and selling the other one on eBay ended up making me a couple bucks on the whole thing.

Work has been kinda busy and, after throwing out my back, I opted for a chill at home birthday. Spent the day playing records and cooked for the family. Homemade pasta, pork chops and some bubbly to wash it down.

Going digital for an album I haven't thought of in years. I spent a few years in Minnesota, and discovered this band while I was there via the late, great Rev105 radio station. Outside of the linked track, which was a hidden track on the CD version of this album and has become a hockey arena staple, I don't think they hit any level of success. Which is a shame, because it is a great album. If you like early Jayhawks / Wilco / etc, definitely give this one a spin.
