I haven’t checked how things will be handled because I still had hope for us.

Hoping you guys/girls can help me with something. I was listening to an interview with Yazz Ahmed and she mentioned a mini-tour she did titled 'Yazz Ahmed's Alhaan Al Siduri'.

It sounds fascinating and was a new set of music she composed which was inspired by the work songs of the Bahraini pearl divers and the wedding songs of the women groups of Bahrain, fused with jazz elements and electronics.

Im struggling to find if it was ever recorded, has anyone ever heard this stuff? Unless it just became part of her albums?

I absolutely have no idea of what will happen. It has been a total mess and I can't imagine everything will suddenly be clear in a couple of months. We probably must wait and see. We all may look like Mr Moore's avatar before UK and EU agree onto something.

Its a nightmare for sure. Not sure who is actually going to benefit really either. We have already seen its effects in my industry (Architecture) which has negatively affected projects (we cant spec certain materials as it will be more costly, gaining projects in Europe will be considerably more tricky etc), and thats all before we even look at our day-to-day non-working environments.
 
On another note. I was reading through the book that came with the Yazz Ahmed - La Saboteuse last night and spent a bit of time properly looking at the package. Got me wondering what everyone's favourite vinyl package is? Im talking the jacket design, liner notes, booklet, extra's ect

Have you got both Ibeyi's records in your hand ? Both play on the duality of the twins duet, with specific jacket design.
