Have you ever read his book The Music Lesson?
I sure have. I actually used each chapter as a lesson plan for bass lessons I was giving as well. Amazing book!

I was reminded of it with your post. I think it needs a revisit from me. Musically, Ive been so uninspired recently. Been playing a little Keys and guitar again lately but t I want that spark back.I sure have. I actually used each chapter as a lesson plan for bass lessons I was giving as well. Amazing book!
Definitely recommended. I think the best way for me to be inspired is to throw on a drum track in the background and go from there.I was reminded of it with your post. Day 19 - Favorite Instrument
It’s gotta be the guitar. Started playing trumpet in 5th grade, picked up a bass around 8th grade and finally began playing guitar somewhere around early high school. Have dabbled with lots of other instruments, but I always seem to return back to the guitar.
Psychedelic, acid drenched guitar is definitely my sweet spot. Wanted to go Garcia, then Dean Ween, but that’s too predicable from me. So lets showcase Jon Dwyer, the mad scientist guitar madman.
