My first exposure to Endless Boogie was opening for Yo La Tengo in 2009.

They came out and played one song......that lasted 45 minutes. Really. I have the recording to prove it.

I love how weird this album is. And I'm really surprised by the sound quality since it's by XL. Great bargain pickup and is making me want to hunt down the other three in the Kick series.

8. Official sandwich update #1

Bossa sandwicherie, porchetta sandwich
So I’ve heard of this Italian sandwich place in the Verdun neighborhood but it’s a little out of the way. But they opened a satellite stand in the Time Out market downtown. The porchetta was out of this world. Tender warm pork, aioli, eggplant, pickled peppers and crispy bread. It hit on every note. Homemade chips too. Bringing back the second half to the wife as I write this.

I am a fan of brevity and I Wanted to play this one before @Wes C. Attle beat me to it as he introduced me to this lo-fi pop gem. The whole album consists of 12 tracks the longest of which is just a hair beyond a minute and a half in length with a total run time of less than 12 minutes total.
