Zerodust is a controversial product. The stylus gel I used came with an Eveo Record cleaning kit. I have no idea what the gel is made of. Seems like some kind of silicone type substance. IDK.

Soundsmith suggest using simple Bluetac, cheap and effective. I've used it for years without any issue, no cleaning required and costs almost nothing to replace.

Yep. I used it for years on a 2M Black.

I have an unopened pack i got a few years ago to replace the Onzow but never got around to it. Been dry brushing the Quintet Black since i got it.

Do you have the bluetac in some kind of container or something?

Naw, I just peel back the paper on it and let er fly.

I set a little flat piece on an old CD-R and then just keep it stored face down

I keep mine in a little container that I can reverse the top and hold it while I drop the stylis onto the blue tack

Hey folks. I dug around in here a bit but didn't see this covered so hopefully it's not a repeat question, but I'm wondering about Mofi cartridge ID and which cart I actually have. I purchased a Studiodeck + Ultra Tracker just over three years ago, and am just now looking at the current Mofi cartridge lineup and the color of mine seems closer to the Master Tracker. I doubt there could've been a mixup and they shipped it with a Master instead, but stranger things have happened. Anyone know of other identifying characteristics between carts or if there have been color variations over the years? Pic attached with the white cardboard tube containing tools that shipped with the deck.

Looking it up online it's definitely the Master tracker, the Mofi text is white vs the black text on the Ultra.

Hi @rhinomite I’ve tried to replicate your photo with my Ultra Tracker alongside the same white cardboard MoFi tube you showed. I think you have definitely scored yourself a Master Tracker!
