1990 - Goodfellas
2000 - In the Mood for Love
2010 - Social Network
2020 - Minari (only if Sound of Metal doesn’t count. It premiered in 2019 at a festival but was released wide in 2020)

1980 - Empire Strikes Back (The Shining is right there too, I'm just more often in the mood for a Star War)
1990 - Total Recall (Tough choice again, lots of favorites this year)
2000 - Battle Royale
2010 - Tucker and Dale Vs. Evil
2020 - Soul (great movie, but one of only a few movies I've watched that were released that year)

Forgot about Battle Royals (that’s the problem with going off Letterboxd where not everything is logged). Also, love seeing the singular of Star Wars. Don’t think I’ve ever seen that before (probably just never noticed it)

1960 - The Apartment
1970 - MASH (only because it's the only movie I've seen from 1970, I think. Will change as I'm making my way through the movie years. Currently in 1966.)

2000 - Almost Famous (***this was the hardest year to narrow down!)
2010 - Machete
2020 - Antebellum (***apparently the only movie from 2020 that I've watched!)
