Movies

I had a lot of fun at Bodies Bodies Bodies and I was only one of two people in the theater (it was an 11:05 AM showing). It’s a tight 1 and 1/2 hour movie with a lot of humor right alongside the violence. But just like with most times I see a movie at AMC (the only theaters locally now), the sound needed to be bumped up quite a bit more. I do have a strong distaste for Pete Davidson, but luckily he’s not the most prominent character in the movie really.

quick response required...is it worth driving a half hour to see? 👀

I would think so. If it sounds like a vibe you’d be into, I think you’d get a lot of out of it. But that said it’s not like a masterpiece of film or anything.
Thought about it and feel like waiting to see if one of the local theaters picks it up next weekend. That said, anyone want a code for a free ticket to Bodies Bodies Bodies this weekend?

I very much disliked Bodies Bodies Bodies. The odd 90 minute film that felt like 3 hours, I couldn't wait for it to end.

I liked Bodies Bodies Bodies, but only REALLY after the final reveal tied it all together.

Couldn't stop laughing when they found the video of Pete Davidson accidentally killing himself and you realize that there was no killer and these kids all killed each other for nothing/out of spite. Hilarious.

The characters were annoying, but I think that's the point.

Saw Bodies Bodies Bodies yesterday and enjoyed it. A tad long and uneven—the first half's a bit of a slog to get to the biting black comedic commentary—but once it starts rolling it's a fun ride, as long as you're not put off by all off-putting characters.

Got home from work to find out that my wife, who worked from home today, has already watched the South Park 25th on Paramount Plus twice.
