Very nearly went to the local screening of Nosferatu that fires up in two minutes but I didn't really want to be out until midnight:thirty, or really leave the house at all for that matter. Gonna check out the earlier showing tomorrow while she does bedtime instead!
No real guidance other than I just want something enjoyable.
Just watched The Zone of Interest. Going to go jump off a bridge brb
I really enjoyed this one more for the meta commentary and insider jokes. It’s almost a parody kind
I can’t. I just can’t see him as Dylan. Maybe some day I’ll turn a corner but it looks so goofy to me.I really enjoyed A Complete Unknown! I'm a fringe Dylan fan but was really taken by the film, and Timmy was great.
Yeah, I get it. Just found the dichotomy kinda funny. Most things we find enjoyable don’t make us wanna jump off of bridges but as someone who’s a big fan of “sad bastard” music, I can relate.@TenderLovingKiller® I mean, it WAS enjoyable, just an absolute Tyson knockout punch to the feels
I was pleasantly surprised but as I said, not a huge Dylan fan so maybe it was easier for me to get lost in his performance.I can’t. I just can’t see him as Dylan. Maybe some day I’ll turn a corner but it looks so goofy to me.
Stripping away the intensity of the subject matter for a moment; the way it tells the story (in what is left unsaid, in the top tier sound production, in the little moments where people awaken to the horror of what is happening, etc) is among the best I’ve seen in years. So it’s enjoyable in the “how did they make this” sense, and from a pure love of film perspective. It’s what makes wafting through the horror tolerable.Yeah, I get it. Just found the dichotomy kinda funny. Most things we find enjoyable don’t make us wanna jump off of bridges but as someone who’s a big fan of “sad bastard” music, I can relate.
I guess, i just find it very boring and long. Which is funny because it has the same runtime as the first one but feels like it's 20 min longer.I really enjoyed this one more for the meta commentary and insider jokes. It’s almost a parody kind
I look at it similarly to Evil Dead and Evil Dead 2.
It was on par with a bowl of oatmeal.
