I’ve been meaning to pick up the Phoebe Bridgers record for some time now, and I've only ever heard of Black Belt Eagle Scout, so I'm stoked to finally give her a listen!!!

I also received a lovely card, and a badass N&G Christmas sticker!! Now to decide where to stick it...

It'll happen! Now I am worried that my package isn't from my Santa. See I did this contest things and I am supposed to be mailed a super limited 7" record. Now I have reason to believe it may be that, but to be fair I think it's not. Is Zink Media Discogs because that's what it's labeld as coming from...

Somehow all I’ve ever known about Joy Division is the art for this album, and the song “Love Will Tear Us Apart.” One of those bands that everyone cooler than me already seemed to know all about, and I never went back and educated myself more than a cursory glance at the history of the band. I’m looking forward to sitting with this and giving it my full attention.

As for Cat Power, I’ve been listening to her cover of Bill Callahan’s “Bathysphere” a lot lately and thinking that I needed to give her another proper listen (I’ve only ever skipped around digital versions of her albums before).

These are great choices, and exactly what I asked for: something meaningful to my Santa that they felt like I needed to have and listen to. Thank you so much!

Oh, and you may have noticed a very cool little extra in that pic. I don’t know how or where this came from, but now I have my own little Christmas-colored N&G logo sticker! YOU JELLY?

My package from Santa arrived yesterday. Three very different levels of awareness for me. I had listened to the advance singles for Planetarium and was excited for it but I guess life got in the way and I guess I never listened to the whole album? I've heard of Snarky Puppy and have never actively listened to them before but it feels like they may have popped up on the local NPR station before. And Ohmme is something I'm not familiar with at all! My favorite part of Secret Santa is discovering something new. Thanks @Heath!!!

Ooohhh, did something else come in?? ;) It’s been tough for me not to ruin the surprise especially since it got delayed. I was stressing a little bit so glad it showed up today. Enjoy!!
