I was out of town for the weekend and didn't get back until this evening, but I came home to this as a surprise!

Thanks @LeSamourai! This is perfect. One of my favorite albums of all time. I don't know why I didn't have a copy yet. I am often afraid to pull the trigger on Hip Hop reissues since they frequently do not get stellar reviews and often are pricey. So, as in the case of this one, I sometimes hold out for originals. I've had an eBay search on this album forever but it seemed that people were putting up near identical boots, which scared me away.

This copy is excellent! Really looks like it was never played, cover and insert are in beautiful shape as well.

I'm so glad to have an original pressing of this masterpiece in my collection now thanks to you and this wonderful forum.

Edit: Mos Def - Black On Both Sides for those who don't know and want to check it out!

YAY! I'm assuming the note came with it since you knew it was me. I wanted to write so much more but stupid Amazon gave me a character limit so I tried to say more with less. Anyway, it only felt appropriate to send this your way given the timing! I hope you enjoy it! I was so excited for it to get to you! I was very happy you enjoyed Bon Voyage as well, it was one of my favorite records last year and one that I thought would match up fairly well with your tastes. This was my first Secret Santa and I got so lucky to be able to shower one of my favorite people with some great records!

Yay! I glad it arrived in good shape, plus the seller included the note I asked him to. This one's an old favorite of mine as well, and after spending a lot of time browsing your discogs, it seemed to be the one calling out to me. Enjoy!

I’ve been meaning to pick up the Phoebe Bridgers record for some time now, and I've only ever heard of Black Belt Eagle Scout, so I'm stoked to finally give her a listen!!!

I also received a lovely card, and a badass N&G Christmas sticker!! Now to decide where to stick it...
