There's a grrl band with a dude drummer in my head but I can't recall specifically who it is. I feel like it is a strong contender, whatever it is. What I remember about it was imagining what it must be like to be that dude on tour with those girls. He has to be one tough cookie. It's not Hole, Bikini Kill, L7, or Veruca Salt although all of those are fitting the general image of the band. For now my best guess would be Le Tigre but I don't think that's the one lurking in my head. One thing is for sure, male drummers vastly outnumber female drummers!

So i was gonna spend 15 mins linking all the hints to my blind guess (Cocteau Twins) and plant a small seed of expectation.
