Yeah...this is the same at my hospital - they claim everything is a HIPPA violation when it really isn't. But it is best to be cautions, as hospitals don't really need the bad press right now - they will go after anyone.

As far as using their hashtag - I wouldn't - as then they can track and see who is posting what....

I did make a hidden/private facebook group for all of us night shifters on my unit - minus the Assistant Nurse Mangers. It's more about keeping people in the loop of changes - as a lot can happen in 4 days off.

Oh, I’m not going to. My organization is rather lax on the whole online policy despite its rather strong wording, but I don’t have my entity listed anywhere currently (outside of linked in) Although, anyone can figure out where I work pretty easily.

Wow,

Using 3D printers they have made it possible for a single respirator to work with 7 patients at once instead of 1.

Mass General Hospital was on the news earlier this week saying that they are using T's to put 2 people on the same respirator. Something that they would never usually do unless in an emergency situation such as this.

And now it looks like they are pushing it to 7 people at some hospitals.
