No Depression listed this one this week. I quite enjoyed a passive listen. I believe @Twentytwo posted the preorder (but that is meaningless), but no one has ever mentioned him on the site otherwise, worth a listen if you want some diverse straight up rock type music.

I have never really listened to his solo stuff although I did buy a couple Whigs CD from Secondspin back in the day.

The Jockstrap album is great. Honestly not a huge fan of the band name, but the music is super, super good.

Although half of the duo is also in Black Country, New Road, it doesn’t quite sound like them. But I think as a fan of them, I enjoy this one a lot - so take that as you will.

RBF from Friday, Built To Spill is a new-to-me band formed in 1992 and headed by Doug Martsch. I read up the bio on Bandcamp and it's a pretty cool story. When The Wind Forgets Your Name is the eighth LP and it's a solid mix of indie rock and alternative. And the album cover is pretty awesome, too.
