This Shame album is quite good! Not that I mind talk-singing (I kinda love it) but it seems like they’re sing singing a lot more on this album. I could see this one connecting with a large audiences. Still high energy and fun.

I’ve never been a huge Gorillaz fan but “Silent Running” has been probably my most frequently played single this year so far. Probably a tie with Caroline Polachek’s “Bunny Is A Rider.” The rest of my family is sick of them.

This is shaping up to be the best NMF of the year for me. Another excellent album is the new one from Snow Ghosts. Another RBF! Experimental electronics mixed with a darker folkiness and some amazing female vocals.
