Same. Tried to sell it for a ton. No takers. It’s so damn good, can’t let it go.(whispers): I still put this and Perils from the Sea on sometimes…

I forgot about this one, thanks!
Out of all the artists that have been cancelled I've been most impacted by Mark via Sun Kil Moon/Red House Painters. I have very nostalgic memories of listening to Ocean Beach with a friend driving through lake effect snow in eastern michigan back in 2013. "Lost Verses", "Have You Forgotten" and "Gentle Moon" are absolute masterpieces. It's really such a shame.True but Ghost of theThe Great Highway is so effing good it makes me angry.
I sold all my SKM/RHP like a week after he was "cancelled" and I remember the guy on discogs messaging me saying "wow, thanks for selling all these at once" idk if he didn't know yet or was surprised I was selling them for less than retail.Same. Tried to sell it for a ton. No takers. It’s so damn good, can’t let it go.
This is shaping up to be the best NMF of the year for me. Another excellent album is the new one from Snow Ghosts. Another RBF! Experimental electronics mixed with a darker folkiness and some amazing female vocals.
More cowbell
This new En Attendant Ana was an RBF for me (but I know it was on a few others' radar lists). Definitely an enjoyable, feel-good listen after my first go! The vocals, saxophone and trumpet playing, and the basslines were surely standouts.
I’d never heard of the Trouble In Mind Record label until this year, but with the Tubs album and this one, they’ve had a couple good months already. This is a good one! Thanks for the rec.
That Algiers is something. I love it.
