Depends if you like using music to sleep hahaha. I thought it was bland and a bit aimless, but I know a lot of people liked it! Guess I had too many expectations going in!

I did a lot of listening to it as I was winding down. It was almost always completed before I went to sleep. lol.

It has every potential of making my top ten. I love it.

The album I’m most pumped for this Friday is This Is Lorelei - Box For Zbuddy, Box For Star.

Just preordered the vinyl from Amazon as it doesn’t look like my local is getting a copy. Only 3 tracks have been released thus far but all 3 are wonderful.

As It Ever Was is not a better album than What a Terrible World.
As an entire album, this feels as spotty as I'll Be Your Girl. There are some good tracks, but there are also some boring ones.
I am sure glad they put Joan in the Garden last.

I've listened to this one twice and each time I've felt that it goes on too long. I think I need to listen to it in a setting where I'm not paying a lot of attention at the run time. Both times was driving so it felt like it kept going and going.

The songs on the back half (second disc) definitely seem to flow into each other a lot more than the ones on the first half, which might contribute to more or a sleepy feel, especially as you approach the 1 hour mark of its runtime. But it also contains the prettiest stuff they've done, in my opinion.
