What did you think of the Tanya Tagaq album? I'm still soaking it in after a first listen..

I love it. It's not an easy listen, but isn't meant to be!

I was ecstatic when I found out she was working with Saul Williams and really like what they put together together. I feel like having read her book helped digest the lyrical content more quickly but moreso than that I think it's one of the best recordings yet of her voice at its most visceral.

Definitely an album that I love pretty bigly but would probably be selective and recommending to others.
