Is it worth even upgrading to the Nova from the original cleaner?

I’ll hold out for the inevitable Nova 2.0I don’t think so. If I was buying from scratch the extras they’ve added on look like good ideas but it isn’t going to clean the records any better tbh, same type annd power of ultrasonic generators.
I think if I were starting fresh I'd be eyeballing the Nova hard, but I'm happy enough with my stock unit that I can't see upgrading unless it breaks down in such a way that I can't get it fixed. Is it worth even upgrading to the Nova from the original cleaner?
This is me too. If they add an option that let's you change the frequency, or one that is a slightly higher frequency I might go for it. But until mine dies I don't see a reason to upgrade. It does the job well.I think if I were starting fresh I'd be eyeballing the Nova hard, but I'm happy enough with my stock unit that I can't see upgrading unless it breaks down in such a way that I can't get it fixed.

Hope it’s a quick and easy process for you!I seem to be the next one in these parts with rollers that stopped. Replaced them this afternoon hoping that would do the trick, nope. Tried adding the pads, nope. Tried a couple different records, no dice.
Next up is hitting up support and guessing I’ll need to go the replacing PCB route. Had it going since July 2023 and probably ran a good 500 records in that time, hell, probably more.
It would be cool if they ran a trade in program. I’m sure they could refurbish old units or use it for parts.I seem to be the next one in these parts with rollers that stopped. He bought 4Ah, yes. Good, he didn't buy one.
HE DIDN'T WANT THEM TO BE LONELY OKAY?!He bought 4
I just that to change the motor for the rollers stopping. Was a much easier fix than the main pcb
I’ve had to replace both and they were both fairly easy for someone like me who has very little knowledge or repairing electronicsI just that to change the motor for the rollers stopping. Was a much easier fix than the main pcb
Yes I’m kind of an idiot when it comes to electronics repair stuff and even I was able to replace the PCB and gear boxWhile the somewhat frequent parts failures (knock on wood) are annoying, I have to admit it’s great that the thing is so repairable and the parts are so inexpensive.
