I gotta say, i REALLY appreciate how up front they have been with everything during the whole process. It was one of the most communicative Kickstarters I have ever been a part of and they really seem to be taking customer service seriously.

do you fill the tank with the filter in place or do you fill up to the 12" line and put the filter/ lid on ?

the filter filters the water when you are pouring it OUT into the main tank. so you can take the top of the water tank off, fill it up to 12" then put the top on and pour it into the main tank.

Initial fill, I just use the tank to measure and dump it in (the water is distilled, the filter's not going to do anything but potentially introduce microscopic contamination). Subsequent reuse, I run through the filter.

Forgot to set my alarm. Awoke in a panic. Then panic purchased with Shopify. Then realize I had never removed my old Alaska address from Shopify. Panicked. Panic messaged humminguru. Got a response within 2 minutes letting me know all was good and the correct address put in. No longer panicked.
