I climbed down off the fence and didn't get one. Put it in my basket but realised the shipping and customs fees were going to add something like 65-70% to the cost so I've decided to wait to hear a bit more from others how it works (and get through Christmas with my wallet). Yeah I can understand that. Customs added nigh on €100 to mine at the kickstarter price so I’d be guessing at the higher price you’d be pushing €150.

I will say, considering the high shipping price, it's nice that U.S. doesn't have import fees.

Yea, it save about $20 from having to buy them in the future (plus whatever shipping is). Yea, I've got few 7" and even less 10", but I do buy some old 7" so it seemed like an okay buy. It's like when a salesman will sell you the less expensive add-ons after you've already committed to the expensive item. It seems like nothing at that point.

Yeah the majority of my cost was VAT which is 23% of the total. The customs duty was only €7.91.

I have vowed to never buy a 7" or 10" again if I can help it and I resent the ones I have. Maybe if there was some sort of storage adapter for them, haha.
