VGK is the first team to advance to the semi-finals. 👏
The Knights dominated this series, outshooting the Blackhawks by over 50%. Yet, despite being completely owned, Chicago will learn all the wrong lessons. They will think that three losses by one goal means they are "close." They will refuse to acknowledge how important Corey Crawford was/is to their success and they will let him walk. They will trade Adam Boqvist because he's not a stay-at-home defender, despite knowing he was a puckmover when they drafted him. They will retain their "coach," who does not know what he is doing. They will waste what little time they have left with the core. Oh well.

The Bs are moving on to the 2nd round while the Canes are headed home.

Might be the case for my team tonight too... still pleased with their progress though. This team wasn't meant to have any shot and the future seems bright.

Still, crazy to think they're down 1-3 in a series where they allowed a total of 5 goals in 4 games.

It's been a low scoring series and a real battle between the pipes. Carter Hart is a younger version of Carey Price. Cool, calm and collected.

He's had a lot of help from his D and his posts too. The Habs have not been getting very good looks. Shot count is not that high and he's only had to make a few key saves really. But he's making them, to his credit.
