That was one of the most fun overtime periods (and full games) I've ever watched. Psyched to have some best-on-best again, and especially that they've announced participation in the next couple Olympics and hosting World Cups.

After the first intermission and both teams were awake, I really enjoyed that game. Although something to be said watching that power play lineup right outta the gate.

Yeah the dark shirt under an already horrible light suit is what puts it over the edge.
A couple great games today. Looking forward to Monday and a rematch in the final. Fuck Bettman for keeping this from us for almost a decade.

Any chance Finland keeps this close? (like lose by 2 goals or less close) or is Canada gonna dominate and blow em out?
Didn’t expect US to win let alone defensively hobble Canada, so it COULD BE…but ya know, hockey.
Also fuck NHL for limiting these games to TNT, Max.

yea the USA Canada game threw me off cuz we dismantled Finaland, then won 3-1 to Canada, and Finland beat Sweden so who TF knows....im gonna go for a close game until the end Canada will get an empty netter to win 5-3

Anything can happen in a single game. Canada's 2014 Olympic team, possibly their best team ever, barely beat Latvia when their goalie stood on his head for 60 minutes.
Also Binnington is not very good, so...
