Song Title "November Spawned a Monster"
Play an punk/post-punk album.
I was very close to choosing the one Green Day album I own but this one hasn't been spun in far too long and I just spun Green Day last week, so this may be more pop-punky but it hits good.
Not a whole lot of punk in the collection. More post-punk but I’m honestly not sure what post-punk is. If I’m completely honest, I’m not entirely sure what punk is, my first idea was to play Nirvana - Bleach but both Discogs and allmusic tell me it isn’t. Fortunately I do own a few solidly punk records. Nod to @girlnevergoesout because I had never heard of these guys and I’d say this is easily one of my favorite punk records. I gave today's honor to my wife. She chose Fiona, although she could easily and happily have chosen either of my last two selections tonight. And she could have chosen Moby. She loves her some Moby.
I didn't feel like digging out my old punk records cause they're in a box in the back of the closet and don't get much play anymore. I like post-punk, more post-hardcore I suppose, but haven't collected much of any on vinyl. But couldn't pass this album up when it came out. As much as Mars Volta doesn't do it for me, At the Drive-In does in an inverse proportion.
