Had that on in my cart too but couldn't bring myself to pull the trigger on it...Aw, nuts. Sat on that 30% uDiscover sale too long. If it pops up again, I've gotta jump on the Abby Road Super Deluxe...

I dipped in one last time yesterday to pick up more BN80s for < $15 each... now the question is whether I’ll receive them (I’m still waiting on orders from early November).
I too couldn't resist one last order. Preordered Peggy Lee's Black Coffee that's coming out on that Verve Acoustic Sound Series as well as the 1/2 speed remaster of Kaya. Applying a $10 referral coupon, got both for $44 shipped.I dipped in one last time yesterday to pick up more BN80s for < $15 each... now the question is whether I’ll receive them (I’m still waiting on orders from early November).
Just an update: this arrived today, along with a couple of BN80 titles and Tame Impala’s Lonerism that I ordered during a recent sale. The Velvet Underground box set was packaged in a perfectly fitting firm-foam ‘box,’ inside a tight fitting cardboard box (slightly torn but mostly intact), inside a larger cardboard box. More careful packaging than I’m used to from these discount outfits. This (below) is the info available for my 11/10 order of the Velvet Underground's Matrix Tapes Box Set from uDiscover. No updates since, but also not too worried. I'm hopeful I'll get this eventually; won't sweat it too much if I don't. Between the craziness of the bargains these places offer and the insanity of the carrier situations, a wait-and-see approach seems best.

Funny, that's the one that held up my first ever order with them and the exact same situation. The definitely don't communicate, you have to keep on them. I just finally am getting shipping from late November today, after about 20 emails back and forth. Luckily I have some patience, but quite annoying for sure.uDiscover finally got back to me on my unshipped order from early Nov. Apparently the Cornbread Tone Poet encountered a production delay. Cornbread was not OOS or a pre-order, so very confused by their response. I had another Tone Poet in my order but decided to cancel the whole thing because none of this info was communicated by uDiscover on their website prior to ordering and I did not receive any updates from them until I reached out. Be wary of the “deals” they supposedly have.
I'm not sure your conclusion is a fair one. I've ordered quite a bit from them this past year and I'd say they've come through over 90% of the time, and the deals have been great. It seems the last couple of months have been the worst, and communication doesn't appear to be their forte!uDiscover finally got back to me on my unshipped order from early Nov. Thanks for this suggestion! Never heard of them before, bought it on this your recommendation. Good stuff! If you’ve got nine bucks burning a hole in your pocket and you want a solid Americana/country rocker you can pick up Portland’s very own Hawks & Doves’ 2018 effort, “From a White Hotel.” Kasey Anderson doing some solid work on that one. Nothing earth changing, just a solid little album.

EDIT: Shit! I just went back and counted. 24 orders with uDiscover since March of 2020. I don't think I've had a single cancellation from them, so that 90% estimate was unfairly low. The only order I've ever questioned for how long it took was from early November, a Velvet Underground box set, and they eventually responded by re-sending the item, which I've now received (I think @Matt M had a similar experience if I'm remembering correctly.) (I have had a few cancellations from Target, and a couple from Deep Discount.)
I'm still waiting on Cornbread as well, but I'm intentionally not emailing them about it. That (and Buhaina's Delight) have been listed as "out of stock" for several weeks, so I suspect that if I send an inquiry, then that will result in a cancellation plus refund. Instead, my plan is to check their website every few weeks to see if those items ever come back in stock, and then email uDiscover and ask them to honor the sale. Mind games.Their deals for the BN80 and Tone Poet are worth taking the chance, and I’m sure I’ll bite again in the future. I just want everyone ordering from them to be aware that my type of outcome is a possibility whether it’s less than 10% of the time or not. They couldn’t find my order for the first 3 or 4 correspondences back and forth and they had my name, email and order # as reference to find it. I’m probably just bitter I didn’t get my Cornbread

People have issues with the BN reissues because they sell like hot cakes and no retailers can seem to keep a lot of those titles in stock, especially when they are priced at those crazy low prices. By now everyone should know what they are getting into by getting these steep discounts from UDiscover. I get that it's frustrating and there isn't much communication (also annoying that they say "in stock" and let you order when they clearly do not have stock left). But at the end of the day, you're getting quality records for really cheap so the waiting is okay with me. I haven't had any issues outside of waiting. I've ordered 20+ albums from them and had no cancellations. I got one damaged record (only sleeve was damaged) and was promptly refunded because they had no more in stock and they told me to keep it.I will say I never ordered any of the BN80 or Tone Poet's which it seems is far and away the biggest issues people are having everywhere but after having nothing but great experiences with udiscover's support and 1 kind of badish with SoV I just received Mac's Swimming In Circles box with some damage and asked if I could get a replacement..... then literally 2-3 minutes after sending that email I got a full refund notice (Mavis Beacon would even be proud of that speed!). No follow back email or anything but i'll take it haha. Also bought the Waxwork Halloween (2007) soundtrack which arrived with a really bad seam split so we'll see how this one goes.
Not super surprising but for the month of December especially I focused on trying to mainly buy either direct from the artist or from Indies and every single thing I ordered came in great condition which was very welcomed since like many here my damage rate has def. gone up lately.
Let's not forget the Neil Young Archive! I've been pretty lucky overall in these sales *knock on wood*. One wrong album sent via Target and got a refund and told to keep it. And I haven't had any cancellations yet.
I completely understand why people are frustrated though and they aren't a very good company to order from. If it was something limited and I was paying retail for it, I'd avoid them like the plague. But for the sale prices, I'm okay with waiting even if it takes a few months to get something.
