Oh completely forgot about that! I think I wrote it off because I never expected it to get fulfilled hahaLet's not forget the Neil Young Archive! LOL
Agree completely--the pros far, far outweigh any potential cons.

I'm still waiting on Cornbread as well, but I'm intentionally not emailing them about it. That (and Buhaina's Delight) have been listed as "out of stock" for several weeks, so I suspect that if I send an inquiry, then that will result in a cancellation plus refund. Instead, my plan is to check their website every few weeks to see if those items ever come back in stock, and then email uDiscover and ask them to honor the sale. Mind games.
I've had pretty good luck with uDiscover as well - my most recent purchase was Larry Young's Into Somethin' that I ordered on 12/15 and it was delivered on 12/22. I think you're right that it's all about what they have in stock.People have issues with the BN reissues because they sell like hot cakes and no retailers can seem to keep a lot of those titles in stock, especially when they are priced at those crazy low prices. By now everyone should know what they are getting into by getting these steep discounts from UDiscover. I get that it's frustrating and there isn't much communication (also annoying that they say "in stock" and let you order when they clearly do not have stock left). But at the end of the day, you're getting quality records for really cheap so the waiting is okay with me. I haven't had any issues outside of waiting. I've ordered 20+ albums from them and had no cancellations. I got one damaged record (only sleeve was damaged) and was promptly refunded because they had no more in stock and they told me to keep it.
I've been pretty lucky overall in these sales *knock on wood*. One wrong album sent via Target and got a refund and told to keep it. And I haven't had any cancellations yet.
I completely understand why people are frustrated though and they aren't a very good company to order from. If it was something limited and I was paying retail for it, I'd avoid them like the plague. But for the sale prices, I'm okay with waiting even if it takes a few months to get something.

I spoke too soon about no cancellations too. My copy of Social Network OST got cancelled from target after tons of delay approvals.I'm the latest casualty of the Target B2G1 cancellation extravaganza. Nina Simone's Pastel Blues ain't coming my way. Gonna have to snag it at my local.
At least I got Cowboy Bebop and Duke Pearson for less that $20 each!
I got both of those, too, among others. Duke Pearson shipped right away, but they just shipped Cowboy Bebop yesterday (after multiple backorder delays).I'm the latest casualty of the Target B2G1 cancellation extravaganza. COMEBACK (20%)Alright...I need all the uDiscover codes for that new black crowes preorder
And go.....
Seconded on both these albums.Rough Trade is having a pretty large sale right now. Lots of titles are discounted:
this album in particular is just fantastic. i'm surprised this one didn't sell out either here or through VMP for a long time
this album also rules:
The KG@CA is supposedly from digital transfer of the master. The KG@ATM is the last AAA version as the tapes are supposedly in bad condition. Either way, this pressing still sounds awesome so if you’re a fan of this album it’s a solid deal since shipping is includedVan Morrison - Moondance on sale today at popmarket for $19.79 shipped
The listing states it's the 2008 version, "Pressed on 180 gram vinyl at RTI. Mastered from the original analog master tapes by Kevin Grey at Acoustech Mastering" Pretty sure it's this repress, which has the same upc. Still a solid deal.

Yeah, I took a shot on the purported '08 pressing a while back from popmarket's sister site, deep discount. I got the KPG@CA cut. Not complaining, as it sounds terrific to me.The KG@CA is supposedly from digital transfer of the master. The KG@ATM is the last AAA version as the tapes are supposedly in bad condition. No complaints either. Between being a KG cut and being pressed at RTI (and the under $20 price tag), it sounds awesome. KG does wonders with lots of digital sourcing. I think the VMP John Lee Hooker “It Serve You Right To Suffer” is a digital source and it sounds amazing.Yeah, I took a shot on the purported '08 pressing a while back from popmarket's sister site, deep discount. Interesting to note the UPC 081227990701 is the same for both versions.Yeah, I took a shot on the purported '08 pressing a while back from popmarket's sister site, deep discount. I got the KPG@CA cut. Not complaining, as it sounds terrific to me.
Yea--you really don't know which cut it is until you open it and look at the deadwax it seems. Either way, as @dansomeone said, the KG@CA version sounds awesome stillInteresting to note the UPC 081227990701 is the same for both versions.
