True, and I live near a convenient place to drop off Amazon returns so I have gone that route before. But in this case I was told there is no replacement available, and since the LP looks in great shape I decided to ask for a partial refund (and got it) so as long as the LP plays as good as it looks I am good with what I ultimately paid for this one.

Yeah, I am expecting worst case on jacket(s) tomorrow.
Vinyl playback damage will not be accepted and returned.


I was careful to make sure disk marks were not in the item condition.
Here is what I picked when checking out.
"Condition: Used - Very Good - Missing shrink-wrap, activation codes for bonus online content may be missing or expired. Item may come repackaged."

On another note, Aerosmith and Pollwinners came in great mailers today.
These were bought new.


Hopefully you get it playing good, I know it'sagood LP musically🎼🎹🎼!

I've been to a party with her years ago in Buckhead GA.
Some rich guy hired her to show up and just stand around as a party hype.

Too much time has passed and I have killed an army of brain cells since then.
So I can't comment about our conversation but we had one,.


The new Aerosmith LP has me on the fence.
I can say I'm glad I didn't pay more than $10.
It's not bad, but not great.
Dream On probably gets it over the hill.
My Aerosmith pile is a $5 find stack and I guess this gives me more of the same.

I can appreciate the rawness.
That Doors 2022 LAW Rhino was many steps above this if comparing audio and studio session albums.

Early teenage version of me would have been hyped asffff at that party and probably shot down by her but I would have def. took a shot and probably end up forgetting the majority of the night like you as well haha. Those kind of parties were always strange to me, when I went to the Musicians Institute Hollywood tons of people did that regularly with Celebrities as a bragging point I guess but it was always cool to hit up those parties in areas I couldn't dream of affording and just hanging out!

Yeah, I honestly almost grabbed a copy so I have nothing really against it or anything from that early era especially. Reefer Head Woman is a jam as well! I just mostly grew to really dislike Steven Tyler over the years and a few of there songs I absolutely can't stand hearing a single second of but they def. have some songs I still get a nice shot of nostalgia from when they come on. I'd say not great and not bad is about a perfect sum up from me as well.

the LA Woman Sessions? I kind of wish I would have grabbed that one in the Plaidroom sale! I had way more fun listening to that then I expected but I have only heard the FLAC files. I heard the vinyl was beautifully done though.

LAW sessions is a record of them recording a record.
It's not for everyone but it's fun AF to listen to if you are a Doors fan.
The audio quality is super. Well, it's Bernie again:geek:

They pressed enough of those that it will go on sale again somewhere.
Seems like everyone is purging inventory these days.
 
Milt survived. Vinyl looks flawless. Initially doesn't look warped either.


Coltrane took the hardest beating.
It was preowned and then shipped without a mailer.
The boxed items were in pretty good shape but no mailers and loose in the box.

I think I can salvage almost all of it but I am going to see what I can get back from Amazon for their lack of adequate packaging skills.
It's probably a pressure cooker in those warehouses for the sales and shipping but not my problem.

Funny thing.
The cheapest record Fancy Dancer at $8 was never opened and came in probably the cleanest out of the bunch.

That's awesome. It's all luck of the draw with this stuff.
Coltrane is warped and not worth the $26 I paid.
The Hartman vocals are not my favorite anyway.
So I will send it back.

Still waiting on Pepper +11 to arrive...

Edit: Pepper arrived in poly bag no mailer🙄
Somehow it was preowned and still in pretty good shape.
Jacket has slight crease in corner.

Overall this was kind of my expectation with these used buys from Amazon.
Take the good with the bad on these deals.

It has to be.
I did a test run buy before these and they were perfect shipments from Amazon.
However, they were new and not prime day sales.

For the record Milt can't be kilt.
Flat as a pancake on the platter.

Jeez.. First of many I bought is not starting out to great for me either.. First time ever the mailman forced fit a record into my mail slot (they have a bunch of big compartments they usually put them in and just leave a key for it in my mailbox). I'm pretty sure my mail box is about 11 inches wide so to get it in there he had to literally bend up all 4 corners to squeeze it in which amazon made easy in only a plastic bag and to top it off they put the amazon warehouse sticker right on the hype sticker when 95% of the rest of the area was clear.. It's almost like they put effort in the ridiculousness of it all.

The record itself looks unsurprisingly a bit warped from a quick eye test but all in all this ones probably going back.. I got my phone coming on Saturday which is the only thing I am truly worried about as the rest of the stuff was just a game of risk that I was hoping to get a couple things worth keeping out of the bunch. Everything else after that is coming next week so it's going to be exciting to see what a full week in transit will look like 😬

that is a real bummer! this is one of the ones I was considering and when I went back for it, was gone
