Phish

Hey folks

I haven't bought a Phish print since I took my kid to his first show at Climate Pledge a couple years ago. I'm bringing him tomorrow and plan to scoop one at the show. They should have tubes to put them in at the merch booth, correct?

Hmmm. I think people brought them to Sphere, and that’s the last show I remember enough to have a clue about. They did not have them, but I was also at n4 so they may have run out of tubes by then.

I’ll be on floor tomorrow and Section 20 Saturday; then floor in Portland. Enjoy the show(s)!!! Great that your kid wants to go! i played a lot of Phisih for my kids when they were young but it never took. The best i could do w/ my music for them was “The Robots” by Kraftwerk (they dug “we are the robots”)

I have a friend who always grabs one and he always brings his own tube for them. I picked up a print at a Trey solo show a few weeks ago and they had them there.

Now that I have responded, I realize I wasn’t much help. Enjoy the show. I remember taking my son to his first Phish show and we had a great time.

I know that people always bring their little plastic tubes with the straps, but I'm not sure if that's just a preference.

My kid got hardcore into Phish during the lockdown Dinner & A Movie shows. He was 8/9 at the time. It was definitely a surprise, but he instantly loved them. From there, he convinced me to give their newer material more of a chance. By "newer," I mean the last 25 years.

Yeah. My memory isn't great. Everything is blurring together. Maybe I'll ask Reddit

They usually have them available with purchase, but get to merch early if you can - I’ve seen them run out of tubes on occasion.

Have a ball, I just decided I’m hitting LA!

Thanks. They should have a booth outside the venue before the show, so I'll hit that up. Last shows I saw were that last Dick's run. This should be a tamer affair and I can sleep in my own bed.

I'll probably just do Seattle.

I’m hitting the three nights here in Charleston this summer and I’m so excited to be able to see Phish and sleep in my own bed. It rarely happens these days.

Yeah. I miss the Gorge, but I like Climate Pledge and it's more convenient. They really upgraded it from when it was the Key Arena. It used to be terrible
