Phono Cartridges - Your favorites and least favorites?

I just realized that the RFI source that's been driving me nuts with my MM cartridge is my Nanoleaf light display. If I unplug it, no problems at all.

BUT MY SHINIES
bahahah, yeahhhhh, I had a similar realization with the the lamp thats sitting on top of my phono (which I believe Mather called out sometime last year as silly) but I NEED LIGHT IN MY RECORD CORNER. I was actually able to reduce most of the interference by putting a couple books between the base of the lamp and the top of my phono

There's not a ton of space for me to put anything between the light and the turntable, sadly. Previously, the lights were on the side wall, and I guess the extra 18 inches of space was enough that it didn't pick up any RFI. I would be a pain to move the lights, so...

Guess I'll just have to keep using Moving Coil and Moving Iron!

Cover it in foil!
It's a light!!

I did put some faraday tape on the backside of the bottommost panel, but due to the way they're configured it's tough to actually cover the thing fully.

Honestly, it's not a super loud hum and isn't that distracting from the listening position unless the volume is really cranked. I got this Nagaoka to be a cheap-and-cheerful, easily replaceable cart to use when friends are over, so if it's not perfect, that's life.

What are people's thoughts on how a proper set up extends stylus life? Does getting it set up to a really precise level extend the life of the stylus?
Intuitively, this makes sense, though I'm not sure there's going to be an enormous difference in practice between a Good Setup and a setup that's been 1000% dialed in to within a micron of perfection with a Fozgometer or whatever. The alignment of the wear might change, but the overall rate of wear should not.

I'd bet you'd see the biggest bump just from playing records that are as clean as possible.

I mean that doesn't SOUND like me... I usually fully embrace fine design choices.
Allow me to go back and look.
