I cannot make two same signatures even if my life depends on it. Glad that bank cheques are a thing of the past.
And I used to be very good at cursive in school. My handwriting just consistently got worse over the years with the use of keyboards.

Same here. I also just make a swiggelly line and make it as close as I can each time. But it's not the same. Even it I take my time, and try to print cursive, it's off by even more each time. Thank the fuck they don't reject my ballots due to signature in MA.

Curing is the process some states have in place to allow for people that is having their ballot questioned the opportunity to fix it. Maybe they didn’t sign it or their signature doesn’t match. If that happens here in WA State they will reach out to me and ask me to come in and fix it if the need be.

Speaking of writing checks, that's an activity I only have to do like once a year these days. And that is because the city only taxes tax payments that way and no other way.
