Political Discussion

This is what I've been saying before the election. People were wringing their hands, saying they wouldn't vote for Kamala because she'd be awful on Gaza, somehow expecting Trump to be better? No it's gonna be so much worse and here we are.
I said the same during the fall but I got it why people wouldn't vote for her. They wanted Biden and Kamala to do more to stop the aiding of a genocide. They were right and sticking with Israel who was working directly against you to get Trump in office was a horrible decision that alienated people and was being on the wrong side of history. It also helped you lose and ultimately will hurt a lot more people. It's not a situation where I take any joy in being right because I knew the two state solution and the Palestinians' right to exist on their land was over.

It absolutely blows my mind that we are at a pivotal point in history where Mitch McConnell could be considered a leftist / democrat.
He's probably trying to save any semblance of a legacy by voting against hegshit. I blame him for preventing Obama from getting his rightful SC justice but pushing through crazy eyes amy coney barrett just days before the 2020 election. Mitch is a pos turtle who had the opportunity to prevent the orange fuckstick from ever holding office again, but he chose not to. Fuck him.

Karma works in funny ways. Garland was a terrible AG for Biden, indicating that he may have been just as bad on the S.C. - although he surely would have been better than Gorsuch.

Coney Barrett at least shows some spine occasionally.

Hegseth is just a not bright guy who probably won't be able to get anything done.

The more dangerous are Patel who will turn the FBI into a national KGB and Gabbard who is a Russian asset.

A Sec Def who will not tell the president no can be very dangerous. They will start purging the military of careerists who might put the breaks on Trump's worst impulses. Then they'll be replaced with loyalists. Someone along the line will say yes when Trump wants to use the military against United States citizens.

And now we’re in a trade war with Colombia. Enjoy your coffee and gas prices going up.
This one is monumentally stupid. They didn't outright reject them, they just asked to be treated with a shred of human dignity and transported according to the already agreed upon arrangements, but because this regime knows nothing except cruelty they shoved them, shackled in military transports like livestock. But calling this out is too much for this little toddler's Adderall riddled mind to bear so of course he resorts to his new shiny toy...tariffs.
