I have it and it sounds to me like it was mastered down a pay phone. It’s quiet and distorted, although not as bad as the sounds of the others going by accounts on here. The 24bit stream from Qobuz is miles better sadly.

Dammit. I need an excellent pressing off this as I’ll be listening to this one on the regular.

Honestly I wouldn’t hold my breath, I’m certain it’s the mastering that’s the issue so it’s likely to then bleed down through all the pressings. This is sadly not an uncommon trend with the labels in the secretly group.

True. I’m sticking with NYA for the download. I would normally just buy the $99 set, but I’d rarely watch the DVD, and the high res downloads will suffice for listening in the car.

Yea if I buy it I’m going this route too. Having high res downloads lately is worth the few bucks I’d maybe save from ordering from Amazon or some other discount site. Although I will keep an eye out on the daily deals at pop market and those kinds of sites...
