Pre-Order Thread

These sleeves are cool!

Background code on the S/t Punk Note edition jumped down to saying 26 left in stock today. Never can be sure how accurate those are, but I thought I'd let y'all know just in case.

I bought this UK Pressing and cleaned it, of course.
Listened to it while doing chores and in the background while working from home.
I dont recall the crazy distortion on Halloween or any wildly significant issues but never sat down for the focused listen.
The reviews suggest its just as bad as others here have identified.
Now I'm going to have to go back and listen to it through the phones and with a more critical eye.

One must have standards.

I have that one. Mine is a complete goatfuck

I have it and it sounds to me like it was mastered down a pay phone. It’s quiet and distorted, although not as bad as the sounds of the others going by accounts on here. The 24bit stream from Qobuz is miles better sadly.

Yeah, don't get me wrong, I think it should still be cheaper. Just was pointing out it isn't only recently. I got robbed on that box. :ROFLMAO:
Even that one, you can easily obtain a copy of the NYA reissue for a reasonable price. The additional cost for anniversary edition is almost exclusively tied to the album art that comes with it. I see it as much as an art print as an album. Some art prints (depending on the numbers printed and the art) go for a decent chunk of cash. I think Neil has bee fairly reasonable with his price points on most things.

Super excited by this. Many think this might just be Neil Young and Crazy Horse's best ever gig. I loved Weld growing up but this has a different vibe to it.

PS This might be the blog where I got a live recording of it a while ago

It sucks that Cowgirl in the Sand is only on the DVD. And that the vinyl only seems to be quite a bit more expensive in Europe eg $123 at my local. Not sure I'm going to pay that even for this gig...

Pre-Ordered the LP only version. I figure the DVD will play a the Hearse theater from time to time. Combined that with signing up for Vault #47 today, I think I've hit my vinyl budget for the month. Or maybe for the week... Or just for today....

Guessing that this has been posted, seeing as it releases in 6 days, but in case not.

Got mine a few days ago. There’s been a production error and it’s red and white like the 36chambers.com version. Tower records says they will be in touch about a replacement

I have the VMP version and don't recall any major issues (and I was expecting to have issues based on what I had read). Will have to try another listen on headphones and report back...
