Same with Let It Bleed. I have both mixes in that silly 50th anniversary box and tbh they sound so similar that no one has any need of both in their collection.

Yeah I’ve bought from most of the European Amazon’s at one stage or the other. They all share stock and warehouses so buying from one isn’t much different to buying from another beyond price differences and having to figure the website out in that language.

Yes. More worried about shipping damage. I don’t really trust Amazon International shipping. Damage replacement is much more involved and Amazon EU cardboard/packing makes Amazon US look state of the art.

On the plus side it is quite possible these boxes will be factory packed and sealed with proper crush space ready to tag and ship from pallets. No way to know for sure.

Yeah I thought about the same thing. If it pops up in the US for under $300, I’ll probably cancel the international order. What is it with their cardboard anyways? Is it made out of balsa wood?

I can begrudgingly say buying box vinyl from Amazon US has an advantage when u need to exchange out a faulty vinyl if two. They have very fair exchange/return policy. But, very different policy when coming from overseas. I’d rather pay a bit more and get it this side of the pond if possible. Not a bad plan to lock one one, however, as u never know.

The SACD stereo version was better then the Vinyl from what I remember as well (it's been awhile since I dug those out). The Mono vinyl is the only one I listen to now with that album and it beats my OG Stereo copy I have as well but that is probably only VG quality so it's not a true comparison at all if i'm being honest. The whole box was beautiful but a bit of a let down pressing wise so I wouldn't be surprised if there were quite a few better pressings out there.

I have Stereo stand alones as well for nearly the entire box and everything I feel is essential but it would be a great companion box next to the 71-2016 box.

If anyone has experience with Satanic Majesties Request or Beggars Banquet from this box especially i'd love to know what you think because if those were done really well this box would get much more dangerous for my wallet real fast. Beyond those two I could easily live without the rest in Mono as well I think.

Isn't Let It Bleed a fold down? I was always under the impression that it was. My mono copy (original) certainly sounds the same as a folded down stereo original
