i am cautiously curious. They really lost me when they stopped the funk for all the pop songs. So I am definitely curious to hear 'new songs' that were inspired when they re-learned 'old songs'.

Really strange. I don't mind the gatefold edition but it's easy to assume that the tour variant will flip. But I'm too lazy for that

I keep checking them out, because I play bass and Flea is great and Frusciante is great and stadium arcadium is good, but it's not BSSM or even Californication.

the last album i really enjoyed by RHCP was Stadium Arcadium from '06 everything from then on has been mediocre at best.

I think I saw them on this tour because the mars volta and qotsa opened. That was a really fun and stacked show.

People liked Stadium Arcadium? That was the album where they really lost me, I really didn’t like it at all. As time has gone by I’ve increasingly gone off BSSM too, those lyrics are rough as you get older. Still have a good bit of time for Californication and By The Way.

Only time I saw them was on the By The Way tour and Mars Volta opened and blew them off the stage.
