Soul Step Announces SSR-091!

Soul Step Records are thrilled to partner up again with the amazing Sterling Drake to release his new set of tunes, called “Highway 200.”
Sterling has continued to build upon his growing popularity in the Americana and Country scene by touring hard in Montana, Texas, Tennessee, Florida, and more. Sterling is becoming one of the top talents in the honky-tonk circuit with his authentic brand of Country & Western tunes.

“Highway 200” is best described as stone cold Country and rugged Western music. This album is full of stories and songs about working hard on the ranch, mourning a love that is far away, and so much more. When playing this record, you can close your eyes and imagine being around a campfire in rural Montana underneath a blanket of stars while Sterling sings the night away.
Soul Step Records will be releasing Sterling Drake’s “Highway 200” to Soul Step Subscribers on Saturday, January 14th. The LP is available to stream on your favorite music service right now.

There will be a limited to 100 Highway Dirt Brown variant in addition to the standard black vinyl. Soul Step Records highly encourages fans to sign up to be a Soul Step Subscriber for free, as most of our limited edition vinyl sell out before it goes on sale to the general public. IMG_7905.jpg

Here is another link. Jpc hast crazy low inkl Shopping so IT might Come out cheaper
This album should have been credited under Elfman solo in my opinion, as it wasn't really what I perceived Oingo Boingo to be (even minus the Oingo), except possibly Dark In The Tunnel. I like Boingo when taken on its own merits, but it's very different in comparison to the ska-based, rocking, horn laden pre Boi-Ngo phase of the catalog. At this point, Elfman was clearly done with that initial phase and deep into soundtrack work, so the songs were more serious, darker, more Beatle-esque.
In other words, I always felt 'Boingo' should have been labeled as Danny Elfman 'So-Lo' and 'So-Lo ' listed as an album called Boingo.
I have loved this band for too long, I suspect.

Saw that. It’s tempting. There’s also a breakdown of all the variants of the individual albums on their site. I already have them all preordered and am too lazy to cancel so I’ll probably hold pat with where I am.

That box is kinda sexy though. Ltd to 300.

I hate to be the one who talks about how cheap things used to be . . . but I will. I remember buying direct from Alias Records back in like 2001 or 2002, and you could get Knapsack and Archers of Loaf records for something like $8 shipped. I know I got Silver Sweepstakes for that much, but if I recall, Day Three of My New Life was out of print by then. (For what it's worth, I know most of those Archers records stuck around until at least the mid to late '00s when I finally picked 'em up at that price.)

I may spring for Day Three now, because it was always my favorite. But $130 for three Knapsack records--I would never have guessed that back in 2000. It does look pretty awesome, though . . .

This record has been OOP for a while and goes for a ton on Discogs, looks to be limited to 500 and moving very quickly.

I paid $6.88 for a new Pearl Jam “Ten” record at Blockbuster Music back in the day. So yeah. I feel ya.

I was ok with $30/each when I preordered (a little less because discounts) but $150 shipped isn’t an auto purchase.
