Obviously I am in the minority here and that is ok. Regardless it brings back of good memories of being a kid with no cares in the world. I miss those days. Early 90's were a great time for being a kid/teenager.
I like this album, but honestly it just makes me want to listen to Toad the Wet Sprocket for some reason. I don't now if anyone else associates them but I always thought both bands sound similar but Toad the West Sprocket's singles had a little extra to them.

It reads like you are saying the band from 1972 named themselves after the California fires and that Katrina and the Waves was named after a Hurricane 2 decades after their heyday.
Ah, I was more implying that those names, given the current context of ongoing natural disasters; have a different unintended connotation now than they once had.
I figured, it just reads a little different. @RenegadeMonster may not even know who Katrina and the Waves are. He may think they are some Kanye emo cover band.
