You sure this is better than Roscoe's? This looks so outdated and reminds me of prison cafeteria food in movies, like the presentation and how basic it is! Like, this looks like Orange Is The New Black kinda food - like everything is very separated and old school. Like just eggs, and the toasted bread, hashbrown and butter in a small packet. Looks a bit outdated, but still I can imagine it being pretty yum. But, this is so so unsophisticated...🤷‍♂️
Roscoes is Excellent.
But it’s only in CA, where they consider it anything but Sophisticated.

I can’t road trip for days across the south and get Roscoes.
Also, Roscoes doesn’t serve hasbrowns with covered in grilled onions, cheese, chili for breakfast.
‘Yes, it’s delicious.

Sophisticated is often times is Overrated.

Did we already move on from Waffle House? Shit...

Did you know they have their own music label, and release 45's?

Well...now I know what my 7” collection NEEDS.

Hardly anyone serves maple syrup anymore. It’s maple flavored corn syrup. I refuse to eat that shit. Speaking of Cracker Barrel, for a long time their little bottles they served were 100% maple syrup. Nowadays, it’s a 50/50 blend with honey but does still contain maple syrup.
Has regular maple syrup always been so expensive? Obviously corn syrup is always going to be cheaper but I wince every time I am out and have to drop like $12 on a small bottle.

Same. They're both high in sugar anyway, one just has less artificial additives. We will usually spring for a bottle of "lite" fake syrup and then a bottle of regular and try to ration the maple. The flavor is negligible IMO so tbd on whether we continue this trend.

My grandfather used to make his own and send it to us. Because of that, I can’t tolerate the fake stuff.

I buy maple syrup from the Grocery Outlet Bargain Market. Do you have one of those? I also hear that racist ass Trader Joe's has good prices on it but I'm angry at them for their local racist ass practices.
