Omg Russ five5eeds looks amazing too! Totally a place I'd go to for brunch! I would definitely take you out to five5eeds or Fat's Chicken & Waffles if you were in the area because those recommendations are #1!Here's my offering, in the Seattle area: Fat's Chicken and Waffles | Fat's Chicken & Waffles is a southern style, New Orleans-influenced restaurant focusing on authentic & natural ingredients in the heart of the Seattle's Central District.
And if you can get into the place, in Park City, UT: Our Menu — five5eeds
Waffle House is shit food. But it’s also great. All day breakfast on the cheap. It’s not a place to go to have a great meal. It’s a place to go for a cheap, quick, familiar meal that serves its purpose well.

Yeah, that’s what Edd said, and it’s a brand new Sam Records pressing/reissue too! Edd said it hasn’t been finalised yet in terms of a date, but I think it should still be good for this December as the ROTM!I might be wrong but IIRC we are supposed to have a Sam Record reissue as WBC AotM for December.
Might be interested too if ya sellin’Its a great way to grab those singles which also all have exclusive b sides.
I may have an extra, never played, vault of this if you were looking for one.
OMG, THAT'S MAPLE SYRUP?!?!?!? They give you a whole glass of syrup! Oh my goodness! Omg, that must be sweet but I can imagine it being pretty great quality syrup and would be a nice counterbalance to the savoury chicken! Far out though, do people consume all of that syrup though?!? That + the chicken + butter + waffles + macaroni and a soft drink/milkshake would be such a fattening meal!
Waffle House isn't great. Its cheap and convenient. But people don't go there cause the food is particularly good. All the other places people mentined are probably better.
To be fair, I also call myself "Lord Diaper Baby" so just 'cause I say it's shit food shouldn't turn you away. I also use that term lovingly. Like, I know what it is and I accept it in all its dumpster fire glory. But I still go there from time-to-time (when I'm in a region of the country that has them; Las Vegas does not have them).
Chicken and waffles is a fabulous combo - famous place or otherwise.
My elementary school teacher was wife to Dan Jennings. Both my parents are career in the company formerly known as Kenneth O. Lester that was the sole food distributor for CB. I worked at both KOL and Bay’s Southern Bread to put myself through college. I’m proud of what the Jennings family, the Lester family, the Bay family and my family have taught me. I am proud to know something about the company that helps my home town thrive and gave me opportunities to make something of myself.why take pride in a restaurant especially one that practiced racially segregated seating and service quality based on race and also discriminatory policies towards the LGBTQ community all the way up until the early 2000s?i had fam that lived in Nashville during the '90s always knew that place was hella racist.
Hardly anyone serves maple syrup anymore. It’s maple flavored corn syrup. I refuse to eat that shit. Speaking of Cracker Barrel, for a long time their little bottles they served were 100% maple syrup. Nowadays, it’s a 50/50 blend with honey but does still contain maple syrup. There are few things more American than knowing something is a bad idea and stubbornly insisting on doing it anyway.
