Sorry to hear that. It claims they are updating the inventory constantly, but I know the history.

I haven't received any cancellation yet, so I feel like I might be good this time, but you never know.

I was on the page when it went live, I think. The list was there but said "not online yet" or something. I left the tab open and noticed that order buttons popped up. I have my fingers crossed.

What were you trying to order? I'll let you know if I see it.

Not only does it waste your time but the delay between ordering and finding out means other places will have sold out as well.

Longtime customer of Reckless and the way their mail order works is that they update the inventory at midnight every night and it's static for the next 24 hours. They also don't have a way to hold items ordered on the site from being bought in store before the order is picked, so if you ordered something over night and someone came in at 10cst, they sold it in person because they probably haven't picked the order yet. It's not the best system by any means but they definitely are still a great in person store.

I think they might be better with it this time around, but not perfect. They've definitely updated and removed from the list what I purchased last night
 
Anyone pick up the Mingus Ah Umm. I've a copy coming but curious to know how it sounds. I know Get On are legit but I can't find anything on source, quality or anything else. It's like some scooby doo mystery hunt

I would be interested in this as well. I also had a look online and couldn't find much about them. Really excited for it though, I have had an OG Ah Um for ages and love it to bits. I try not doubling up on records but this is worth it for the extra material on the 2nd LP alone.

I was under the impression that majority of these got pushed back to October, which is what I heard from my local store and a few others. Was on the fence about it anyway due to my previous experience with Get On Down RSD releases but would be curious to hear an opinion first if more are indeed being released laterz
 
Did anyone try Hi Tide Groove release -- it looks to be a great selection of tunes, but it's really hard to get a sense of the mastering.. the discogs listing has a Japanese mastering/original and I guess it was originally a CD release. If it's a flat from that CD then I'm not really interested, but curious if anyone has any feedback?

Gave in and grabbed that Hot Rats from one of these shops. I told myself I didn't need anything this time around but I am a huge Supergrass fan and even if I never spin it I rationalized that I was at least helping out an indie record store!
