Oh wow! I would love one of those! My wife and I were to attend that show together. Then last December following a liver & kidney transplant, she suffered a traumatic brain injury while recovering in the hospital. She wasn't able to attend the makeup show with me, but I went with some of my dearest friends. It was a beautiful bittersweet evening. Glen's song that he and Ed sang together undid me.

What a gig!

Brilliant set list, especially for someone like me that’s not really bothered with much of the newer stuff. Everyone on form, McCready was on fire.

Definitely top 2, possibly the best out the 6 times I’ve seen them.

the band liked this show enough to make it available to stream on their member video page (but just audio only, with show photos as the visuals).
 
at around the time i posted that a rehearsals folder was added that have full band, soundboard recordings of their september 2021 rehearsals prior to their short festival runs, and some late february 2020 rehearsals of gigaton tracks just prior to that planned tour before the world went to shit.
 
Recently pulled my vitalogy out to listen to and found it was atrocious (skips/locked grooves, etc)

Any recommendations on the best sounding version out there?

i don't think there's a version considered consensus must have/best sound. avoid the 2011 reissue, though, despite it being labeled 'audiophile edition', i remember there being some common qc issues and people not liking the sound (and a quick search seems to confirm that). the 2015 or so reissue has the same descriptor on the sticker but was cut by someone else i think and has more positive comments. the original press still has its supporters, too.

not the most helpful answer, but again i don't think there's a clear cut winner here.
 
I have an original and I had the 2015(not sure if that year exactly, but it was bought around then) and kept the original and sold the later reissue.
 
I'm surprised they didn't do anything for it's 30th. It could use one of those nice 45rpm reissues they've been putting out. It's their best album Imo. I have that 2015 or whenever reissue which sounds fine to me!
