STAR WARS! STAR WARS! STAR WARS

Aargh still gotta squeeze in revenge of the sith ....no spoilers please !

I did Revenge of the Sith last night and figured tonight was going to be relegated to streaming new music releases then Obi Wan tomorrow but the music's gonna wait - fortunately, I'm working alone most of tomorrow, which makes for good music listening time.

No spoilers, but I'm loving the heck out of this series so far!

Yeah those were fun. There are some major canon issues going on that I'm not sure how they're going to rectify but.... we'll see I guess.
Yeah, I really hope they rectify that one death. The one positive of Disney Canon over legends is that all the material SHOULD fit perfectly together. But as it's gone on we've seen it's really like a tier system. Movies > Live Action D+ content > Animated D+ content > books and comics, and you have free reign to rewrite material at a lower tier. And that suuuuuuucks.

Also, we got another animated Disney+ show announced!

It's taking place in the High Republic with some familiar characters. If it's anything like the rest of the Junior HR content it should be a great all-ages show. Seriously, the young reader novels have no right to be as good as they are.

There's that big one and there's two other things:

Leia's R2D2 message in Star Wars certainly makes it fairly clear she had never met Obi Wan before and likely didn't even really know who he was. So uh, that's kinda out the window unless he like, force wipes her memory or something... And the other thing which is less of an issue but still odd is that Obi Wan heard Anakin referred to as Vader in Episode III but it's a big surprise when they make the reveal in the second episode of the show? He should have already known that.

Yeah...... if this really becomes a "fuck your continuity" kind of show that would be something... Especially for the examples you mentioned, as that's not animated content where you know a sizable portion of your audience hasnt seen it and therefore doesn't care....it's the damn films. Weird stuff man.
