STAR WARS! STAR WARS! STAR WARS

There's that big one and there's two other things:

Leia's R2D2 message in Star Wars certainly makes it fairly clear she had never met Obi Wan before and likely didn't even really know who he was. So uh, that's kinda out the window unless he like, force wipes her memory or something... And the other thing which is less of an issue but still odd is that Obi Wan heard Anakin referred to as Vader in Episode III but it's a big surprise when they make the reveal in the second episode of the show? He should have already known that.

I took that more as shock that he was still alive after he had left him for dead?

Right but that was already revealed to him in Episode III before he went off to fight I think Sidious? I mean that's a smaller one, you could claim he didn't make the connection from Anakin to Vader I suppose. But if they actually meet in this show that's going to really screw up the movie continuity too. I mean Leia is 10 here, Star Wars takes place like 10 years after this show, so the whole "that's a name I've not heard in a long long time" kinda makes no sense already but I don't think they'd ever met before Star Wars and I believe that was made fairly clear. Although honestly I'd have to go back and watch it again...

It’s a long time since I watched 3. Sideous is the emperor right? Didn’t yoda fight and lose to him. And after obi wan left a anakin/Vader for dead he regrouped with yoda and bail and the kids and they all went into hiding? Palpatine rescued Vader and put him in the suit but I don’t remember another interaction between either and the Jedi side again?

He saw a holo alert thing talking about Vader. I mean like u said that ones more minor but if they actually meet up and see each other then that's a huge canon blunder too. I just feel like these shows don't really have a plan. Like there's no story supervisor who's saying "Uh yeah no you can't do that because then the original trilogy actually makes no sense."

Basiclly Legends still remains supreme. Again if people are starving for good Kenobi content, check out the John Jackson Miller novel, Kenobi.

I can’t help thinking that the next 10 years must be really harsh on obi wan to turn him from Ewan McGreggor at this age to old man Alec Guinness…

Is it correct that these go even further back in time than phase 1?
Still have to finish the last third of phase 1
Yep, phase 2 will take place 150 years before Phase 1. Mixed response when that was announced, but I'll come around to it. One of those projects is a Porter Engle comic miniseries detailing how he earned the title The Blade of Bardotta. What's really interesting is how it will explore the background of the Nihil. One of the main characters of the next Marvel series is rumored to be Marchion Ro's mother. Lots of areas for exploration.

And then I'm sure phase 3 will tie the two together.

So trying to close out phase 1 wave 2. So what do I avoid before falling star. I'll go with out of the shadows next, but how far can I read the comics anc Mangas before falling star?

Stop before HR 14 and Trail of Shadows 4, those both have spoilers on the final page, and then the final issue ties into the events. Don't remember about HRA. Haven't read Edge of Balance Vol 3 but the first 2 are fine to read. Be sure to read Midnight Horizon last, after finishing TFS and the entire Adventures series.

Edit: Also, Eye of the Storm #2 should be the last thing you read in the entire phase. First issue can be read whenever you want.

God I think of Alec Guinness in Star Wars as being waaaaay older than that 😂
It's just because he had gray/white hair and you were a kid. I think he looked less haggard than McGregor does now, not that Ewan isn't a megababe
And McGreggor could pass for someone in their late 30's! I want whatever Paul Rudd voodoo juice he's on.
He definitely does not. He looks 50. You guys just think 50 looks older than it does 😅
