Because you like the mystery or you don't want to see them in action?
The former.

TBH, I hadn’t even considered the latter was an option for nipple piercings.

It reminds me a bit to the rope scar on Brad Pitts neck in Inglorious Basterds. Like it’s subtly there and you know there’s a story but it’s never addressed so you mentally fill in the blanks.

I got ya. I think we get some insight into why he might have them later when we get a glimpse into his kinks with his newest wife. Before that when I saw them in the hottub I did think they created an interesting contradistinction to his Constitutionalist/bible-toting persona. Of course, I'm not saying that nipple piercings are the devil's playthings, so to speak, but it did stand in contrast to his character as developed thus far.

That's a good comparison w/ Inglorious Basterds and I think your preference would be a good way to keep it. Provide some shading but no fine lines.

Or they do the complete opposite and they do exposition ad nauseum on the nipple piercings. Maybe like a whole flashback to his formative years that includes a trip to Piercing Pagoda or Claire's.

S5E5 of Fargo was excellent, the best of the season so far IMO, especially the sit-down scene with JJL and Hamm. So great.
E6 had at least one somewhat ridiculous scene but I'll forgive it because I'm really loving this season overall.

I didn’t watch the Chris Rock season, may skip it straight to this one

Chris Rock season was pretty good Jason Schwartzman was fantastic. Also, I was a little bias since they filmed some of the external establishing shots in my hometown of Pontiac, IL.
I think it's definitely worth watching but if you want to keep up with the current discourse around this season of the show I see no reason why you couldn't watch this season now then the last season after.

I binge watched 2 fantastic Apple TV shows in the past couple of weeks.

Silo. Absolutely love this, I really enjoy post-apocalypse films and the idea of a bunker/silo that houses a city is fascinating. Lots of twists and turns in this series. Based on a book series by Hugh Howie which I plan on getting.

Severance. A psychological thriller series based around the idea of being able to "sever" your brain into work mode and outside-of-work mode. BUT neither "mode" remembers each other or what is done during those hours so it's essentially like creating another human and having them work 24/7. Crazy concept, pretty out there at times, and brilliant.

Two of the best shows I have seen this year. Silo really surprised me, as I knew nothing going in to it. The ending definitely left me wanting more.

Has anybody seen this? I'm not much of a Who fan - watched a couple Matt Smith seasons, and a few others here and there. Enjoyed the vibes, but it never grabbed me that much. I'd heard it had kind of lost the plot the last few seasons, but now with a fresh lead, new writer, and increased budget they seem confident enough to start hyping it up, and even calling it a new season 1. I may check it out.
