Television

I found season 2 to be very fascinating. I was hooked. It covered in a lot more detail human life in the Americas before it was supposed to be there as well as on Easter Island. The rock molding aching stonework was especially interesting to me. A lost technology and something we have no idea how they did.

Some of the stuff was briefly covered in a series searching for Atlantic recently on National Geographic. But they didn't go into depth, they only mentioned it.

We started watching Escape at Dannemora last night. Great cast, and Ben Stiller directed at least the first episode. It wasn't until the next episode was queued up that I realized it was originally on Showtime and was made in 2018, and just hit Netflix recently.

I feel like, unlike HBO and FX shows, I don't hear much about Showtime programs until they're on another streamer...

I think I am going to try YouTube TV for my live TV feed. Not happy with Hulu's picture lately, seems like it's time to try something else.
Anyone here use that one?

YouTube TV user here for a few years now. Really love it. I use it on an Apple TV device connected on my main LG TV and then also have a cheap Roku TV in the bedroom I use it on as well. Both work great.

Been watching Northern Exposure basically for the first time; I remember it being on when I was a child but it absolutely flew over my head. Strange to watch a show you’ve absorbed on a superficial level yet are seeing for the first time.

I’m on the tail end of season three, and it’s so enjoyable and comforting. Weirdly spiritual, in a deeply secular way. Makes me want to move to a small town where I’m the most normal resident.

The "Assembled" doc for Agatha All Along is a great watch if you liked the show. A lot of time is spent on how the sets and costumes were made and there's a TON of hidden stuff they point out that was really cool.
