My favorite show of the year - Ripley - is absent. Otherwise there's some good stuff here.
Yeah, I agree. My favorite show of the year - Ripley - is absent. Otherwise there's some good stuff here.
The 17 year old and I watched the first episode of Say Nothing last night, hooked.
total delight. Adam Brody and Kristin Bell have insane chemistry, and the supporting cast is a delight.Wife and I started Nobody Wants This last night. Already 4 in. Very enjoyable.
hmmmm
Same. Although I read an article in NYT that talked about why the estate and Marquez's son gave the go ahead for this version...so I will probably at least watch E1.Extremely skeptical. This is a wonderful book that I don't expect will translate to screen very easily.

We already have Arrested Development: multi-generational, downward-trending incestuous family in a decaying home with repeated names and a plot that uses references to events both past and future as jokes in a kind of circular time...
Absolutely gorgeous. I would love if they ended up doing another book in the series for a second season.I'm a little late to the party, but I started Ripley last week and am halfway through. What an incredible show. It's one of those situations where I have to stop myself from watching it all in a few days because I don't want it to end. After the first watch through, I think I could actually watch it again without the sound even on. It's such a beautifully shot show.
Paste seems to have liked it…Extremely skeptical. This is a wonderful book that I don't expect will translate to screen very easily.
