I prefer Moondance dance as well, but love Astral Weeks. I only recently read the Bangs review, it’s an interesting review. I think the run of Morriosn from Astral to Veedon Fleece is pretty damn special.

The generator was real nice to me tonight, what with Maxwell in the group project.

This is my favorite Badu Album (and I think they are all great). Baduizm is probably a notch better. However, this plays to my own personal 70's groove preferences and this is the album that I like more.

Synthpop and dance-pop bops...sorta. To me, their earlier albums bore the moody, cold magic that I look for in this field of pop music.
More of a specific mood listen as it, for better or worse, sounds of the time where Eurobeat/Eurodance began crossing over into the mainstream. A harmless, fun listen overall, but you can do better in the realm of synthpop.

Personal highlights: "Liberation," "Yesterday, When I Was Mad," "To Speak Is a Sin,"
Rating: 3/5 [Good]

I recently got screwed on a purchase of what was supposed to be an ex promo copy of this. It arrived and was neither of those and it was from an auction that allowed no returns. Despite reaching out to them they were assholes so I didn't think it worth my time. Still need to find a good copy. But I do really like this album. Solid 4/5

I love this album and the band.

Man, I didn't like this when it came out....
This is one one Offspring album I enjoyed… Of course I was in 6th grade when I came out. They were fairly popular throughout high school but those later albums seem to rely mostly on goofy novelty songs for their success. I haven’t listened to Smash for quite some time though I did pick up the cassette tap awhile back so maybe I’ll give it a go this week.

THERE'S A TEN MINUTE LONG SONG ON THIS SHIT? Jesus, I'd rather be listening to late Black Flag,

So here's the deal, no one asked for Punk to go Glam. Funny, the allmusic review doesn't know what to make of them either, but says it's good. Like what is the deal, why do people like this. At least with Blink 182, you have the excuse of Travis Barker being a beast.

I can't believe this came out on Epitaph. I thought it was some major label bullshit. Shows what I know.

There is no reason for this, although I think maybe the video for either Self Esteem (also a decent song) or Come Out and Play was similar to the one for Deeper Shade of Soul, but I always think about these guys when I listen to this:

It's interesting that there are a bunch of live albums on Spotify. May need to check those out some day. (UDS not OFFSPRING)
