I haven’t heard both but I seem to recall that the box set version is a new cut and not just reusing plates from the 2014

I wouldn't invest too much time into comparisons.

It’s a nice mix but I think the digital process the used to extract the individual instrument stems has muddied the clarity a bit. It’s still good but I’ve heard it clearer. I’m still all in on the mono as the best analogue cut.

I'm not well versed in Beatles Mono Revolvers or anything but I'm listening this morning to this box. I prefer the stereo mix in this box more than the mono hands down. Might be my ears playing tricks but this stereo mix is also better than the other one i have from 2012 -
The mono is sounding a bit too abrasive for me - I've not heard the 2014 though so can't compare.

This release sounds great, however I prefer the mono release that comes with the 2022 box set. Perhaps this would sound even better with a proper mono cartridge setup, but with equipment and mastering these days, that usually doesn't matter as much as it used to. I appreciate the replicated "original" jacket, but that alone hardly warrants paying bucko bucks for this.

I disagree with you totally. I have both. And this version sounds way more warm and analog. The new version..although good...sounds very "digital" to me...just saying IMO it in no way beats this version.
I like that I have stereo and mono in multiple variants to compare.
