Nothing on my copy!My copy of Dexter's Go! is on its way. Any issues with scratches from the inner sleeve like a couple of the Classics?

Mine was flawless! My copy of Dexter's Go! is on its way. Any issues with scratches from the inner sleeve like a couple of the Classics?
Great to hear. One Flight Up was a flawless pressing so am hoping the same, even though one is a TP and the other is a Classic.Mine was flawless!
Flat, quiet, clean and absolutely wonderful!
The one comment on that review is something that I often think about when listening to Lee Morgan's music. Wondering where he would have taken his music had he lived. He was only 33 when he died and already starting to explore new avenues (regardless of how adventurous they were). Would he have gone down the fusion route? Avant-garde? Electric?Pretty solid review for Live at the Lighthouse:

Yeah, my Amazon order is showing the 4th-11th August now.
Had to cop the Hipp shirt at the mall last weekendhttps://www.uniqlo.com/us/en/ut-graphic-tees/blue-note
Uniqlo has some pretty cool authorized Blue Note T-Shirts available at the moment. I’m rather fond of the Jutta Hipp one. And I own a version of the Somethin’ Else design that I bought from them several years ago which I wear quite often.
Check ‘em out!

The Classics reissue?Have there been any updates on when Somethin' Else will start shipping? I ordered from Acoustic Sounds back in February and there has been nary a peep about it.
I got mine back in February so for some reason they did not ship yours. I would check with them and find out why. The bad news is it looks sold out everywhere currently I just checked, the good news AS is showing availability August 9th again but I would ask them if the repress date is solid. BN Is quietly repressing some things, some of us got the second run of Sidewinder for ie recently.Have there been any updates on when Somethin' Else will start shipping? So perhaps they ran out and were waiting on a repress to ship him…?I got mine back in February so for some reason they did not ship yours. I would check with them and fine out why. Perhaps, things were wonky mid covid everywhere though and still are.So perhaps they ran out and were waiting on a repress to ship him…?
Seems likely but awful that they dropped the ball on the whole necessary communication aspect of a company.
Yeah, they keep updating the ship date. Was June, then July, now August. AS is usually pretty reliable and thought it was in stock when I ordered so assumed something had just gone amiss, especially since it isn't available anywhere. I love this album for many reasons. I find myself entranced by Tony Williams, and, inevitably, focused on his playing. The album is a drumming a tour de force, albeit definitely not “grounded” in any traditional sense. Also, I went back to Out To Lunch today since I’ve got a preorder in for it, and man it’s not as weird as I remember it…
Two years ago I couldn’t even make it through the first track and now I’ve streamed the whole album and found it quite enjoyable.
Freddie seems to ground this album the most for the listener, so thanks Freddie!
I also see why it’s so well regarded now.
I’m sure the appreciation will only continue to grow.
