So these VMP MMW reissues are getting a wider release?
are they?

Speaking of MMW. They're among my favorite bands, w/ Combustication highest on my want list. I don't have it on vinyl. If you have the BN 75th Anniversary or original vinyl, would you recommend? The limited Discogs reviews on the 75th aren't great (apparently bass distortion), and the only review of the original release is from 2012 and doesn't mention the pressing quality.
IDK I have problems with VMP and 55$ + shipping is umm questionable. I only want The Dropper.
I love that record. Such a great listen. Not sure if this ever went (temporarily) OOP, but Plaidtoom has one of my favorite Tone Poets back in stock at $28.
Stanley Turrentine - That's Where It's At [Blue Note Tone Poet Series]

Grant Green - NigeriaNeeded to trim the collection a bit and decided to part with a few Tone Poets as I had purchased nearly all of them so far. It was really hard as even the ones I don't listen to as much I really, really like. Led me to question which ones were my actual favorites. So here is my top 5 (I think) -- very curious to see others' lists
Wayne Shorter- Ecetera
Andrew Hill- Passing Ships
Dexter Gordon- One Flight Up
Lee Morgan- Cornbread
Bobby Hutcherson- The Kicker
Just got McCoy Tyner’s Expansions in! Not a gatefold but sounds beautiful as always!
Nabbed it bout a month ago from AMZ for like $21! Only reason I grabbed it blind, really glad I did! Excited to really sink in again and digest jtReally good album heh?! I had an earlier pressing that I sold when I saw TP was coming, haven’t ordered yet, waiting for a price fall .
Grant Green - Nigeria
Chet Baker - Sings
Dexter Gordon - One Flight Up
Art Blakey - Roots & Herbs
Stanley Turrentine - That’s Where It’s At (not an obvious contender but it always finds its way to the table)
Waiting, not so patiently, for this one. Ever since leaving it sit in my cart until it was too late, it's been a constant regret.......and the Cogs prices just make it worse.Chet Sings

That seems to be back in stock in a few places now. Hopefully they reprint Cornbread, Chet Sings, and Nigeria as well. The Real McCoy went fast again at AS and is out but I see another store has a few (dm me if you need it).I saw a bunch of newly arrived copies of “The Cooker” at my local shop today. I see it’s now available at Amazon, too. So perhaps there is something to this repressing business…
I had to look high and low for a regularly-priced copy of “Nigeria”. Finally found one at a shop that did not sell online.
Yep, I'm kicking myself for not pulling the trigger on "Oblique" when it was still in stock.Nigeria, The Prisoner, the Bobby Hutcherson albums, and Duke Pearson are my top hopes for represses that I missed the first time around.
